Ian Scott Challenge
Ian Scott in his address to his club in 1981, described the proposal to establish a research fund (that led the creation of Australian Rotary Health) as exciting, frightening, demanding and fulfilling!
The Rotary Club of Mornington endorses the Ian Scott Challenge again in 2017-18 Rotary Year. The challenge will sustain the future research built on the concept first started by the Members of Mornington in the early 1980’s. The Rotary Club of Mornington rose to the occasion and the 2 million dollars was raised from the Rotary Clubs of Australia.
Australian Rotary Health accepts the challenge and is seeking Rotary Clubs to be called to action.
This Proclamation calls on each club in 2017-18 Rotary Year to become a MUSTER MATE for the Ian Scot Challenge. A BRONZE MUSTER MATE will be recognised for a $500 donation. That’s a minimum as your club can excel by becoming a SILVER MUSTER MATE ($1k) or a PLATIMUM MUSTER MATE ($2k) or go for the top shelf and become a DIAMOND MUSTER MATE ($2.5K).
